3rd gen motor and tran in 2nd gen?
Hello. I have a broken down prelude '87 and access to a 3rd gen motor and tranny. Is it possible to put the latter into the former? If so what would I need to do to make conversion available? Thanks in advance.

I don't think that would be a possible swap. So many things are different between the 2nd gen and 3rd gen engines. To name a few, you would need:
-A complete new wiring harness and ECU set.
-A hydraulic clutch line
-Custom axles
-Custom engine mounts
and much more.
Your best bet is to find a 2nd gen engine. They're plentiful. I'm sure you can find one.
