Hey guys,
I decided to start working on my led tail light project. I have been putting this off for years and am now just getting to it. With technology now readily and cheaply available i now have the means to do this the way i wanted too.
I will post better pictures when i get a hold of a digital camera.
Parts: black transparent vinyl film (smoked) ebay $9.99
3x3.25 led rings for brake lights ebay by (4 for $13 from china)
8" x1" yellow led bar for turn signal?(still to be determined. ebay)
I have kept all the original wiring from the brake light, and have come up with a solution for parking light and braking, but i will have to get some more solder before i start playing with it.
here is a very rough product, my brother helped me with placing the vinyl using his heat gun and the led light is taped into place for mock up.

This is good stuff. I like the look of the LED mounts that you're using. Keep posting your updates. We're all curious to see how this turns out.

here is the first pic. I decided not to black them out with the tint i had for visual safety reasons. I still may tint them lighter later.
Ill add a pic with the brake lights later, It started to rain.
