Re: Cup Holder, where in the heck....
If I'm not mistaken, the cup holders from a similar year of accord can actually be installed in place of the flip cupboard that is in your center console below the stereo. The accord cup holder is a pop-out unit that can hold two cups. I believe that others have made these work as the consoles are very similar. I think the EX and LX accords have these, likely in and around the 1992-94 or so model years. A wrecking yard is a great place to pick something like this up and see if you can get it to work.

Re: Cup Holder, where in the heck....
I am a sportscar purist and love the fact that the prelude has no cupholder. To me it says "This car was intended to be a serious sportscar, not a Buick or an Accord...If you wanted cupholders you should have bought an accord coupe." I understand how much of a pain not having cupholders can be. I personally slide my cups between the handbrake and the seat. This works well but the cup size necessary depends on seat position. For me, a large subway soda cup works perfectly. If you slide your seat very far back, you will need a bigger cup. Just a suggestion if you wanted to avoid putting a cupholder in a such a pure sportscar.
