Hello Prelude people, LAtely my honda prelude 3rd generation has been releasing all of the issues that the previus howner didn't wanna to deal with.
the seat Belts are just not retracting back to they position into the door!!
this caused to have the body shop adjusting my door strikeing receiving plate due to a ....when I colsed the door, the buckle male part of the seat belt was left hanging and got cut between the door and the car frame!!
is this and easy fix if I take the door cover?....or do I need to buy and have the new seat belt and have it installed by a qualified Pro shop?
I went to the wreking yard just to see what I was going to get in to ,,if I did it my self,,and what I saw....I din't like it,,is a series of sore of pulleys that retract the seat belt from the soulder part, and nother one from the bottom /lap part!!
sorry I think I may just made it osund more dificult than what really is.
thanks.

What style of seat belt retractor do you have? Is it integrated into the door or is it next to the seat?
