Ive recently bought an '88 prelude and it does 300km on a tank, mostly freeway driving and me driving like miss daisy the entire time, i was just wondering if this is poor or good?
Sorry if this has been asked in a previous thread.. thanks for your help

That doesn't sound right. 300km on a tank is pretty poor. Mine does about 500km on a tank, and that's with a lot of driving in the city.
My guess is something is quite wrong with your fuel system. Your injectors have got to be dribbling extra fuel, or there is a leak somewhere. Are your injectors the stock size?
Do you notice a smell of fuel when you run the car?

Yeah, that makes a huge difference. Having a carb will hurt your fuel economy a lot of time. I'm still thinking that it must be running a tad rich though. Have you read the manual (see section above) to learn a few things about carb adjustment?
