Extre warning light in gauge

hai spiffy its me again~~

I just wandering what is meant by the warning light after PGM-FI warning in the gauge?
when i refer to the manual book pg 16-84 it only mentioned 1)Low fuel warning 2)Cruise control indicator 3)seat belt reminder 4)brake warning 5)oil pressure warning 6)charge warning 7)PGM-Fi warning 8 )Unknown??

Do you have a prelude with anti-lock brakes? My prelude has an ALB warning light there to indicate a fault in the anti-lock brake system.

You could post a picture of it. I'm sure somebody here would recognize what the icon means.

Sorry for late reply~~been busy doing assignment.ehehe.Yes i did by pulling the ecu and clock fuse under the hood but the warning light is still there

You've got me stumped. I don't have that light. Heck, the service manual even lists that slot as being blank. That light has got to be related to some optional component your lude has.

I've attached the diagram from the service manual, and as you can see, that spot is blank.

Do you have any really odd features on your lude that are really rare. Like heated seats/mirrors? Rear fog lights? etc?

I can't quite make out what the icon looks like from your picture. If you can get a better shot of it, that might help.

Here another pic i got from online.It shows the same icon.I have electronic side mirror but the diagram more alike catalytic converter?if it refers to catalytic i wonder what happened to the catalytic?

Yeah. Did some more research, and that's definitely what it is. I'd doublecheck the condition of your catalytic converter and the O2 sensors around it. Maybe your cat is full of soot or something.

I didn't know that 3rd gen preludes had that sensor. I just found a picture of one on a 4th gen JDM lude, but this is the first I've seen on a 91.
