Aircon Pump and conversion from R12 gas
Hi, I am in Spain and have taken my prelude to have the gas changed from r12 (as its not available in europe any more), the system is holding pressure, but the compressor is faulty - anybody out there got one for sale? I have searched ebay etc.. and been to my local scrap yards, but no preludes. Will a compressor off something else fit? Like a civic or accord?

The compressor on other Honda cars may work, although I can't say for sure. We'd have to check the part numbers to be sure.
Keep checking ebay and other sites. These do come available every once and a while. If your car is a 90-91 SI prelude, the part number for the compressor should be: 38810-PK3-S01
